Use Caution with Bright Outfits

TV personalities don’t wear the norm – they wear what looks good on TV, which is generally something that quickly draws the eye. However, keep in mind that bright, solid colors can be a double conundrum – they often either very powerful or repelling. For instance, on many people neon colors are off putting – like having an unflattering spot light focused on you the entire time you wear the outfit. Light colors are guilty of the same thing – every flaw is enhanced, and not in a becoming sense of the word. Darker tones tend to blend in with shadows, which makes them great for downplaying unflattering features.

Experiment with Primary Colors

Primary colors can go with all types of skin tones and body shapes. For instance, a  blue suit looks great on both light and dark skin tones. If you’re unsure of how to use colors to your advantage, just stick to simple black and navy outfits because you can’t go wrong with the classics!
